Buhera Foundation is a private charitable foundation that works to promote the economic and social development of Buhera District, targeting mainly schools in the district by providing funding and other educational material and initiatives.

Our mission is to grow and nurture talent amongst the youth in the district so that they become tomorrow’s leaders.

Main objects:

The Foundation’s main objects include, amongst others:

1. Promoting the schools' brand name;
2. Providing external funding to schools from past students and or other well-wishers;
3. Encouraging the developing sporting prowess in extracurricular activities like football, athletics, cycling, netball, rugby, hockey, shooting, swimming and many others, including the construction and maintenance of sporting facilities;
4. Providing meritorious scholarships to academically gifted students and those with other unique skills in sport, literature, singing;
5. Promoting scientific and technological research at schools;
6. Providing functioning school libraries that promote students’ needs for education, learning and reading;
7. Providing research laboratories for all science subjects from chemistry, physics, economics, agriculture, geography, computing;
8. Establishing schools' endowment fund with funds raised from past students, donors, and other well-wishers;
9. Providing meals for students to promote good nutrition for all students;
10. Construction of a students' community halls to be used for hosting exclusively various schools' events;
11. Investing funds in activities that provide returns to be used in the promoting of the above activities;
